Tours

Explore Seattle's active waterfronts where people live, work and play with a local guide.

Tours

A Future Tides tour unveils Seattle's modern maritime community to locals and curious visitors who might otherwise pass it by.

If you've ever wondered: What's going on out there on the lake? On Puget Sound? Or along the waterfront? Or, how could I get out on a boat?

Then come on out for a FREE walking tour! Bring your curiosity, questions and an open ear. Walking tours start in Lake Union Park and last approximately 90 minutes.

  • How Lake Union is used today
  • Recreational boating around Seattle
  • Seaplanes and SUPs
  • Get to know businesses and nonprofits based on the waterfront
  • Adoption of new technology like electric propulsion
  • Public and private development along the lake
  • And dreaming big: What about a taco boat or a bike/foot ferry between parks?
